Colour Mobile Visual Message Signs (VMS)
Bartco UK is the first manufacturer of mobile, solar powered, five colour matrix variable message signs (VMS) in the UK and Europe. Our five colour matrix signs enable users to display eye catching messages in red, green, blue, white and amber to attract the attention of motorists quickly and safely.
Available in two sizes:
- VMS-A is designed for inner city and urban works for roads with speeds of up to 80 kph (50 mph)
- VMS-C is designed for use on roads of any speed including roads with speeds greater than 100 kph (60 mph). Its larger size means it gives greater visibility of safety messages for drivers on dual carriageways and motorways.

Designed for inner city and urban works on roads with speed zones up to 80kph (50 mph) the portable VMS-A offers a choice of five colour displays. This five colour matrix means pictograms can be used which are effective in communicating across language barriers to overseas visitors.

Designed for use on roads with speeds over 100kph (60mph) the portable VMS-C is easy to set up and operate and is ideal for relaying your message on motorways and dual carriageways due to its large screen display (2730 x 1850mm).

Bartco UK has a unique sign management system, Web Studio™, which enables the user, from any internet enabled device including Apple and Android smartphones, laptops, iPhones and iPads, to remotely locate their mobile variable message signs (VMS) and change the message on each sign to update drivers on up-to-the-minute road conditions, literally at the touch of a button.
